Millions of children go to bed hungry, and don’t understand that they’re parents are unable to provide for them. Some beg, but some are too weak to even cry. Every minute of everyday, somewhere in the world, 21 children will die of malnutrition and preventable diseases. Constant malnutrition can lead to blindness or deformities. As shocking as it seems, it’s the truth. While some child is starving in some poverty-stricken country, an obese child is being fed fast food. One child is dying because he is hungry, while the other child is dying because he’s eating too much. We need a balance. We don’t have to accept it, but we can choose to stop it.
