Graffiti: Is it art?

Graffiti is a strange and distinctive art form. The world is the artist’s canvas as they paint on public surface such as walls and bridges. Graffiti expresses cultural thought through the artwork. The graffiti movement has been met with much fight as some see it as mere destruction. Graffiti is art because it does express a personal belief in an artistic way and what is created can be interpreted.
